Hourly rates and billing policy
MRI hourly rates from June 1 2010 to May 31 2013
The following table lists the hourly rates for the MRI depending on the principal investigator statute. The ethical part of the hourly rate is the cost for the evaluation of the project by the RNQ’s research ethics board amortized on the first 25 hours of scan time.

[1] For each study, researchers from the private sector must pay the whole amount of the research ethics board evaluation fees.
Notes:
- Any cancellation must be made al least seven (7) days in advance. For any cancellation made less than 7 days in advance, the researcher will be billed the time reserved.
- If you go over your reserved time for either the MRI or control room, the additional time used will be billed by 15 minutes increments.
- Every new project is allowed one (1) free hour for equipment setup and MR parameters adjustments. All subsequent hours are billed at the current rate.
- Any specific arrangement must me discussed with the UNF scientific director, Dr Julien Doyon.
